Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of services offered by First Fold at demolink.cloud ("we," "us," or "our"). By emailing us your website, requesting a rewrite, approving a quote, or paying for a project, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. What we provide
Our core service is rewriting the first screen, hero section, or fold of a website homepage. This may include an outcome-focused headline, a clear call to action, and visible contact information. The rest of the page remains unchanged unless additional work is agreed in writing.
2. Additional services
Full-site rebuilds, ongoing maintenance, SEO services, branding, logo design, hosting, and legal or compliance review are not included in a standard homepage rewrite. These services may be available separately by agreement and may be billed differently.
3. Payment
Pricing depends on the service. A homepage rewrite is quoted before work begins, and payment is due before final delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing. Revisions beyond the number included in your quote may incur an additional fee, which we will disclose before proceeding.
4. The process
You provide your website address and a short description of the customer or result you want more of. We review the first screen for clarity, one clear action, and visible contact information. We then provide a proposed rewrite for your review. You may request the revisions included in your quote before final delivery.
5. Ownership
Once your project is paid in full, you own the copy and design delivered for that project and may use it as you wish. We may reference completed work in our portfolio or marketing materials unless you tell us in writing that you prefer otherwise.
6. No guarantee of results
We aim to make your homepage clearer and easier to act on. We do not guarantee any specific increase in bookings, calls, inquiries, or revenue because results depend on factors outside our control, including traffic, market conditions, and implementation.
7. Client responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide about your business, services, pricing, and contact details. You are also responsible for obtaining permission to use images, testimonials, or other materials you provide.
8. Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business opportunities, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Termination
Either party may end an engagement before work begins with written notice. Once work has started, fees for completed work are non-refundable unless we agree otherwise in writing.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or for legal reasons. The version posted at demolink.cloud is the current version.
